Creative Interests: Nature and family are great inspirations and influences in my work. As a part of nature human beings also share the natural characteristics of procreation, fertility, and multiplicity. My work represents the way I perceive my surroundings; representing my everyday experiences, my interactions with and observations of nature, and my communications with other individuals. I attempt to capture life through dramatic profiles in my work. As in the Futurist sculpture by Umberto Boccioni, “Unique Forms of Continuity in Space”, I work in broken planes to reveal incompletely defined forms that symbolize the moving energy of the human body that is caused by interaction with other individuals, nature, air, light, and the environment. |
