Admission: Professional Aviation Flight Technology
Enrollment in Professional Aviation Flight Technology (PAFT) will be based on selective criteria.
Admission Criteria
Criteria will include:
- 2.5 cumulative GPA
- SAT 1070 or ACT 21
- Documentation of Private Pilot Certificate (if applicable)
- Amount of flight hours
Transfer Admission Criteria
The following criteria applies to ISU change of major students.
Criteria will include:
- 2.5 cumulative GPA
- Trend of recent semester grades will be considered
- Documentation of Private Pilot Certificate (if applicable)
- Amount of flight hours
Official SAT or ACT scores for transfer students: SAT 1070 or ACT 21.
Official transcripts for transfer students: Submit official transcripts from all colleges previously attended.
When to Apply
Students must be admitted by January 12 prior to the desired fall enrollment for preferred consideration. Students should allow 2-3 weeks for institutions to process a request to send a transcript to Indiana State University.

PAFT Admission Notification
Applicants will be notified of their admission status by March 15 prior to the desired fall enrollment in the program.
